William Mapan
Will Mapan - Creative Developer, makemepulse Paris
Will experimented with a degree in Computer Science and then Communications at university before becoming Motion Designer. It was when he started scripting his animations that he returned to education to study at the famous Gobelins School of Image in Paris. His course led him to experiment with a plethora of technology and projects on the web, apps and installations.
Unit9 bought him to London for his first ‘creative developer’ role and opened the door to the world of Advertising. He loved it immediately and relished the ability to experiment and be creative. He was part of the team which won the very prestigious FWA Site of the Year award, which he is incredibly proud of.
Will moved back to Paris and joined makemepulse where he strives to keep pushing the web boundaries merging creativity with technology.
He is passionate about emerging technology and is looking forward to being part of the KIKK in Town AR journey.

The Art of Metamorphosis Masterclass
Metamorphosis is an up and coming AR experience developed in WebGL especially for this year’s KIKK Festival. With a stylised look (read: not realistic), the user will witness the fascinating journey of an organism through the « Temple of Evolution ».
During the MasterClass, makemepulse Creative Developer, William Mapan will take a closer look at some key elements of it’s creation, as well as giving tips and tricks on 3D modelling, WebGL integration, workflow between designer and developer… he’ll share it all!
